The following are the rules of engagement a.k.a. how to get involved. Read it all.
The average size of an installation script is 7 KB, far, far under the 1024.0 KB maximum size proboards allows. So, here's how to do it. Create a new post with the title of the game you're adding support for. Be specific. If it's a second edition, say so. If it's a platinum release, say so. If it's a multi-game disc like GTA Trilogy, say so.
Write down your Master Game List entry in a simple text file, all one line.
Zip your installation script, uninstallation script, and Master Game List entry into one zip file with the following naming convention:
Name of Game.zip
Couldn't be simpler. The installer and the uninstaller need to each be in their own folders, as they have the exact same name (name of game.ahk). The MGL entry can be loose.
Also, keep it to one game per thread. If you or someone else wants to follow up with a more concise version of the script, or one that provides alternate functionality, then they can do so as an additional upload in that thread.
Feel free to discuss the scripts in the thread, but keep it all about the game that the thread was originally about.
One other thing. Comment your code. If you do anything other than the basic key captures recorded by AutoScriptWriter II or declaring an environmental compatibility layer or using the free space check routine, comment it. Help us see what you're doing and how. Odds are, we'll all learn from it and your comments in your code will help improve the whole project.
Any questions, just ask. I'll be uploading one or two just to give you an example. Also, if you have enough space to copy and paste your code into your original post, feel free to do so.
