Welcome to the OpenExtreme Forums. There are a few ground rules we need to go over before getting started. Read these carefully and fully. I tried to keep the list short and the rules themselves concise, so read through them. If you break one of these rules, you may be banned. Don't say I didn't warn you.
1) RESPECT -- Respect others' work, ideas, and posts. You can disagree. You can have a negative review of another's work. But do not be an ass about it. Show respect for others when posting.
2) TRUST -- DO NOT UPLOAD MALWARE! Doing so will get you banned.
This project is built on uploading the diverse work of other coders and combining it all into one release. Therefore, the project is also built on trust. Break that trust, and you get banned.
3) BITCHING -- Don't. Complainers are not welcome here. Be constructive, even in your negative reviews and disagreements with others.
4) NO FLAMING -- No flaming. No flame wars. None of the like.
5) LANGUAGE -- This is an English only forum. Please post other language text in Private Messages only.
6) NO RED TEXT -- Only moderators may use red text and even then, they use it sparingly. It's aggressive, hard to read, and annoying.
7) NO POSTS IN ALL CAPS -- This is considered yelling, makes the post harder to read, and is unnecessary.
8) SPAM -- Don't. Spam is simply an irrelevant or advertising post. If you want to advertise your new site or project or something here, PM me first and I'll likely give you the go ahead. Otherwise, your post, like all spam posts, will be deleted.
9) INAPPROPRIATE MATERIAL -- Do not post it. If you wouldn't feel comfortable viewing it at work or in front of children, don't post it.
10) SWEARING -- Swearing is not banned from the forums, but when there's no need to do so, why do it? Some people may be offended by the language, others may be relatively young. Follow the same guidelines as in number 9 above.
That's it for now. I may update these from time to time, so check back occasionally. Thank you.
